    The Layout
    Top menu – select a main category.
    This will open a Home screen with vital information about the various screens in that section. Please read.
    Side menu - Select what you would like to work on.
    Submenu – Some of the side menu categories are broken down into additional subcategories.

    Structure
    Guests and Events - The program is divided into two main sections.
    Guests - Enter and keep track of all guest information. This is the best place to start. The information entered into these screens will be used throughout the program.
    Events – Enter and keep track of all details related to planning an event.

    GUESTS- Enter and track all guest information. This is the best place to start. The information entered into these screens will be used throughout the program.

    Sequence for Guest Screens

    1. Enter family name and family head count.
    2. Enter individual family members.
    3. Enter the events guests will be invited to.
    4. Add addresses
    5. After receiving the RSVP enter the events your guests will be attending.


    Guest Family
    Add New Family or Import New Family. You may use a combination of these tools to enter your guest families.
    Add or Edit Individuals, Addresses - Add individual family members and additional relevant details. This information will be used repeatedly throughout the program.

    Guest Events
    Invitation List - Assign - assign guest to the events they will be invited to
    * If your guests are being sent an invitation for all events simple select All Events from the drop down list. If you did not include All Events to the events you are planning then open the top Event button and on the left menu select β€œAdd New Event” and select β€œAll Events”. Return to the Assign Guest and proceed.
    RSVP - Confirm – After receiving the RSVP confirm the events they will be attending

    INVITATIONS -The data you entered in the Guest Screens will be relevant for labeling your invitations. The options for Basic and Advanced labeling are explained in more detail on the Invitation Home screen.

    Sequence for Invitation Screens
    1. Guest addresses MUST be entered on the Guest screens.
    2. Guests MUST be assigned to events
    3. Select Basic or Advanced
    4. Use the provided template or export to your computer to use a different mailing system

    Basic – send one invitation per family – option to add inserts to specific events
    Advanced – option to organize multiple mailings by the events guests are invited to
    Guest Email – Send group emails
    Order Online – a link to invitation site

    EVENTS - All the planning related to an event will be added here.
    Select Event – You must choose an event to work on.
    *Ceremony- First select Ceremony from the event drop down list, then select ceremony from the side menu.

    Sequence for Event Screens
    Vendors
    1. Vendors and quotes MUST be entered into the Vendor List screens.
    2. Select vendors for this event
    3. Select quotes for this vendor

    Seating
    Set Up Seating -Set Up Tables and Chairs

    Assign Seating - The sequence below MUST be completed before assigning seats
    On Guest Screens
    1. Enter family name and head count.
    2. Enter individual family members.
    3. Enter the events guests will be invited to.
    4. Add addresses

    On Event Screen

    Vendors - Planning events may include using different vendors. In order to store the vendor information there is a Master Vendor List. From this list choose which vendors to use for the event you are planning. You can enter vendor information into the master list through the Vendor List.

    Vendors - Add vendor details. Record quotes and notes about each vendor you may be considering.

    All guests are entered as a β€œfamily” first, then as individuals.
    3 options
    1. To enter names into the program directly -Open Guests/Guest Family/Add new family
    2. To import names and addresses Open Guests/Guest Family/Import New Family
    3. Template - Use the provided template to add names, either by copying and pasting from an already existing list or by entering into the template
    Add or Edit Guest Details- Guests/Guest Family/Add or Edit Guest Details
    After entering a family, add the individual and family details.
    Individual members, add first, last name, age, gender, phone, email, kosher.
    Family details add location, guest type, invited by, save the date, accommodations, transportation, welcome gift. Add addresses.
    Add Events - Home/Edit Child or Events/Add New Event
    Address Label – Guests/Guest Family/Add or Import - Enter addresses
    Print address labels or export addresses from the Invitation/Basic or Advanced screens.
    Add Preferences – Home/Personalize Categories - create your own preferences and categories
    Add Vendors – Vendor List
    Aliyah –Events/Ceremony/Ceremony Honors- add aliyot and other guest honors
    Assign Guests to Events – Guests/Guest Events/Invitation List Assign Guest- events your guests will be invited to.

    Backup & Share- Home/BackUp & Share-several options for backing up your data files.
    Budget, actual costs - Enter cost into the budget form directly or add to the budget from Event/Vendors/vendor details.
    Budget, preliminary estimates – estimate what you think your expenses will be.

    Cantor, name and contact –Events/Ceremony
    Ceremony- Events/Ceremony -add synagogue information
    Confirm Guests to events-RSVP- Guests/Guest Events/Record RSVP Confirm guest to Events- record the events each guest will attend.

    Family, guest list by – all guests are added as β€œfamily” and will appear alphabetized on the Family Guest List in the way you enter their name. The Family List provides a family guest total.
